Looks like local Canadian travel is back on the menu this summer. Spring is here and summer is ever so slowly creeping around the corner. It’s getting that time to get your friends are start planning some summer trips. Most people don’t even think “Canada” when they think summer vacation, but think again on this one. So once you’re done your spring cleaning, get planning a summer trip.
Sayulita? Don’t think so. Save your money and summer vacay local this year.
Okay, you may know this one, but hear us out. You definitely haven’t done Vancouver Island like this; if you live on the west coast, grab a few friends, a camper van and get ready. When you reach the island, take the Oceanside route. Take this route all the way from Parksville to Campbell River, stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery. After that, take the North Island Route and enjoy all the island can offer.
Montreal? Pftt, no, thanks. Quebec City is where it’s at now, most people do not think about Quebec City as being a summer destination, wrong. You have three choices to get there from the West Coast, plane, train or car. Anyway you choose, you will love Quebec City. If you are a family, don’t miss Canada’s largest indoor amusement park: Méga Parc des Galeries de la Capitale. If you are travelling with friends, Quebec City has some amazing pubs, restaurants and nightlife.
Weird one, but we promise you will love it. In particular the Cabot Trail, this one we highly recommend renting an RV for and going for about a week. This will be one road trip you won’t soon forget. Plus you can tell are your west coast friends you’ve been to Nova Scotia. This trail has tons of amazing bed and breakfasts should you not want to sleep in your RV one night and change things up.
Maybe time to do Canada this summer. With the dollar not the greatest lately, maybe time to wait for that European Vacation. Planning an extended vacation? Make sure to store your stuff with North Shore Mini Storage.
